A HOME FOR THE ANGELS
Child Caring Foundation, Inc.
1996-Present

“Let the children come to me… The kingdom of God belongs to such as these.”
Matthew 19:14

VISION: “A LOVING FAMILY AND HOME FOR EVERY CHILD”

MISSION:
TO PROVIDE A POSITIVE HOME ENVIRONMENT FOR CARING AND NURTURNING OF ABANDONED, NEGLECTED AND ABUSED CHILDREN.

GOAL: TO STOP ABORTION, THE ULTIMATE CHILD ABUSE BY PROVIDING CRISIS INTERVENTION PROGRAMS, LEGAL PLACEMENT AN ALTERNATIVE FAMILY INTEGRATION

Fourteen years ago, we fulfilled our dream to build a HOME where “unwanted” children will be welcomed, loved and cared for. We followed our dream and we are blessed and honored to become the stewards of God’s gift…God’s children.

In 1992 while serving as Vice-Mayor, Lito Atienza and wife Beng established the “Home for the Angels,” a child care center for abandoned and abused infants. He believes that every person is of absolute value and that nobody deserves to feel unwanted. But due to some circumstances, some parents really give up their children so Lito Atienza and his wife established a house that would welcome these angels. Here they will be nourished with everything that they need and most of all they would feel wanted and loved.

“As long as babies are being born, God has not given up on Humanity..” Sec. Atienza and wife Beng always makes it a point to find time to be with their angels and personally give them the warmth of love, care and the sense of belongingness that they sincerely need. The shelter that the couple provided is given better meaning when the children are showered with attention.

“The best way to stop child abuse is to catch the children early.”

This has been the standing position of the founders of the Home for the Angels, Jose L. Atienza, Jr. and his spouse, Ma. Evelina I. Atienza, staunch prolife activists to the prevailing challenges posed by the proliferation of the anti-children mentality that pervade our society.

Abortion being the “ultimate child abuse” must be stopped at all cost but it is not enough to talk about it. The Home for the Angels is the back up solution to anti-life challenges.

The Home for the Angels has been a consistent crisis home for abortion survivors and neglected, abused and exploited infants ever since it was founded fourteen years ago, on February 14, 1996.

By prommoting a crisis intervention program, the Home has assisted 301 children referred by individuals, government and non-government agencies. It has entertained and referred thousands of callers with pregnancy and family related problems since 2006.

It further reached out to the marginalized children in the depressed communities to promote the Early Childhood Care and Development program for pre-school children needing assistance through the Learn and Play Program since 2003.

The early intervention services provided by the Home through counseling and referrals continue to defend, save and support the infants entrusted to its care providing a fulfillment of its vision, mission and goals.
