Mahal Ko Si Lolo, Mahal Ko Si Lola
In almost forty years of Atienza’s political career, he has established
social development projects such as the “Mahal Ko si Lolo, Mahal Ko si Lola” (I Love My Grandfather, I Love My Grandmother) foundation in 1976, a model for today’s Office of Senior Citizens Affairs (OSCA).
Atienza firmly believes that even in the elderly, there is strength that contributes to nation building. This foundation has helped thousands of senior citizens enjoy the prime of their lives.


Mahal Ko Si Lolo Mahal Ko si Lola (MKLL) members experiencing fullness of life as they enjoy various activities such as attending Independence Day Celebration and other cultural and historical commemorations, monthly Ballroom Dancing and Gateball Tournaments.
Several activities were held to empower the elderly such as ballroom dancing, health and grooming day, alay-lakads, training programs in reflexology and hair-cutting, feeding programs, clean-up drives and gateball games.
